As I posted earlier, it was The Boy’s birthday a few days ago. We had a little gathering the day before his actual birthday and then his birthday day was spent more quietly; opening his presents in the morning, then my grandparents visiting after lunch and then a pancake dinner.
The boy was really well behaved, though, despite his sudden increase in independence and general ‘NO I DO IT’ behaviour – And I think we all had a lovely day.
He had lots of lovely gifts. Not just from us but from various people; there are from – me and the fiance, my mum and her husband, my sister, my grandparents, my uncle, my best friend and best friends parents. And then there was money from other parts of the family; my dad and step mum, my brother and his girlfriend, my nan, my great aunt and uncle. He was a very very lucky boy!
