Enjoying the sunshine

I’m willing to bet there’s been countless posts about the, finally, emerging sunshine but I’m happy to be on the band wagon for this one.

It seems to have disappeared, again, already but a couple of days ago we had a delightful time in the garden. Grandma was able to take the rubbish we’d had out back to the skip, we cleared out any cat poop which was lurking (blech) and I dug out The Boy’s sun hat and sand toys whilst Grandma set up his sandpit which she recently bought some sand for!

Had to keep pulling his hat down as it kept just perching on his head, think he needs a new one – Got a rather large head, just like Mummy did when she was little. But he didn’t mind, he enjoyed, happily, squirting the plants with his new squirty bottle that Grandma picked up for him (to apologise for throwing away the old washing up liquid bottle he used as a squirter last year!)

Toddler on a mission – This may have been one of the many times that he decided to try and ambush Grandad with the water bottle, poor Grandad!

Building sand castles with Grandad – Masses of fun. We spent ages in the garden and The Boy was, mostly, so well behaved that I was able to sit down and rest a little whilst he, thoroughly enjoyed himself and made the most of the lovely weather!

      Thanks, Dany, we did 🙂

Hopefully won't be long before we can again!
