Looking at flats is exciting and scary… and exciting… and scary!

We weren’t, really, planning on looking at moving out straight away, we were going to wait a few months to get ourselves settled in and the likes first, but I’m a serial RightMoves checker and so I’ve seen some nice looking places pop up and some of them have seemed so nice that they’re worth checking out and considering moving earlier so that we secure somewhere really good.

We went to our first place, just the other day and it was both a great surprise and a disappointment. We were expecting the rooms to be quite small but they were Massive, which was a fantastic surprise. Unfortunately, though, there were some other things about the place which mean it’s probably not quite right for us. It’ll be fab for young sharers but not for a family.

I also saw what could be the perfect place, later that day, only to find out it’s gone already.

I think this is the start of a very long journey to trying to find the perfect place, and it’s quite scary, my anxiety doesn’t hold up too well to changes this big, but it’ll be worth it when we have our lovely home!

It is scary i moved out when i was 17 and i didn't want to go but now i have i love having my own space. I say own space but there's always some of the kids bits somewhere or other. I would never want to move back home (with the parents) now. Worse part BILLS lol xx

I moved out the first time when I was 17/18 too but moved back home at 19 and been here since. It's been nice living here, especially giving my son the chance to be super close to two of his grandparents, but it'll be nice to get settled into our own place, when it happens 🙂 xx
