This evening saw the release of a new and rather exciting brand/concept named ‘SuperLove Make-Up’ The team behind SuperLove are responsible for a number of other exciting and successful brands who’ve appeared on the beauty scene over the past few years and they’re, now, branching out to introduce this new brand which, I think, has the chance to make a biiiig difference to the beauty market.
I know I’m being pretty vague so I guess I’ll break the suspense and explain why this new brand is quite so different and exciting – For the first time we, the fans, are going to have an active role in helping towards the development of the range!
Just reminisce with me for a minute… how many times have one of your favourite brands released a new range and you’ve loved it but there’s just that one shade missing that you think would have made it perfect? How often have you loved a shade but ended up bewildered by why they’ve chosen such a weird name for it (I know it doesn’t Really matter but we’re beauty addicts, these things do go through our heads, don’t try to deny it!)
So… wouldn’t it be amazing if we were actually involved in various steps during the development? Choose the shades that would be going up for vote, vote and campaign for the shades we love most and also think up names for the shades and then vote on our favourites.
With the internet and with Facebook we’ve been able to interact with brands a whole lot more over the past few years which adds an extra dimension to being beauty obsessives but when I imagine the possibilities that are being suggested by this new brand I think it’s going to take interactivity to a new level. We can give feedback now, make suggestions and get a response from companies but with ‘SuperLove Make-Up’ our feedback and our ideas are actually going to make a difference, we’re actually going to be able to influence what happens and what products we’re going to be able to buy! I like this idea, I like it a lot!
Obviously not everyone is going to want to actively interact with the brand, we won’t have opinions on every single aspect of the processes. Buut I think even just Watching the development will be a little bit exciting, it’s the sort of thing that most of us don’t have a whole lot of experience of and would love to know more about.

I know I’m pretty excited by this whole concept but it’s hard not to be, and I’m pretty sure you’re all going to be too so watch this space and keep an eye out for this new brand!
