You may already have seen my post about the Sleek ‘Vintage romance’ palette
– It’s no secret that I am absolutely in love with this eye shadow palette, there’s something truly magical about it and I just can’t get enough of it. Thankfully, the blush is something I’m really rather happy with too.
First things first – I have a bit of a ‘thing’ for antique rose, dusky pink shades. I don’t know why, I don’t know when it started, but I am constantly on the look out for products of all types in those sorts of shades. Soo… this blush called out to me, it wanted me to own it.
If you like matte blushes then this one will not be for you – The antique rose colour is dotted with tiny particles of glitter. They’re not big pieces, by any means, as that’d put me off; instead they are more like the sorts of thing you’d find in a highlighting product.
Obviously you’ll need to use your imagination as to how this would look when it’s more blended out and not in such a dense streak of colour but this gives you a good idea of how it looks against skin.I’m really pale and this shade looks so so nice higher up on the cheek bones, adding an almost natural flush but with just a little something else to it. The glitter adds to the whole look, negating the need for a highlighter, and makes it seem almost faery-like, magical. I know some have said ethereal and I think they’d be right.
You’d want to apply this blush lightly but if you do I think it can make a gorgeous look – Yup, I’m in love with this too!
