Another big milestone – Ethan has painted his first Warhammer figure!

Ethan’s been obsessed with Azii’s Warhammer models for a while now, he loves just being allowed to look at them and hold them gently and he always asks about them. Needless to say when Azii told him that he’d been a really good boy so he thought Ethan could paint his own ‘little man’ Ethan was rather over the moon!

Model painting is rather serious business, though, there’s lots of important preparation and clearly Ethan was eager to learn the finer details! Just look at that concentration!
He was so so excited to pick the colours and decide which parts to paint – He didn’t actually go crazy and just cover the whole thing in floods of paint!

He actually did so well! Daddy Azii did need to remind him he was focusing on one part at a time but regardless I thought he did so so well! Also he made No mess! He got a tiny bit on his hand and on Azii’s hand but he actually put so much effort in to it – Very proud of him.
And then, after Steve was done, they played a proper game! Ok so Ethan hurled dice as far as he could and then got a little carried away and just took turn after turn knocking both figures over! (No violence was involved, instead of fighting the figures ‘shouted at each other’ and then one of them ‘fell down’ – Ethan now plays ‘Oi!’ with his Galdalf figurine and Steve the space marine quite a lot!)

aaawww, bless, he looks so excited and happy, both do!

I think the warhammer figures are a bit more exciting than the rpg adventures of my other half – not that I don't like Paranoia but I would prefer to be painting figures than losing James to the countless hours he spends writing out his next role-playing session! I tend to go in a change things for fun!
