September and October 2013 Competition wins

I haven't been entering a whole lot of competitions, recently, but I've been quite lucky that the few I've been entering have given me a couple of nice wins.

It seems a bit late posting about Sept things in November but I didn't want to post about it alone and my October one was Right at the end of the month so didn't arrive until this month. But I thought I'd share my wins, with you, inspire you all to enter more competitions because it is possible to get lucky!

I entered one of the Glamour magazine competitions a while back and got the congratulations e-mail in September so tell me I'd won a Body Shop 'Beautifying Oil' - I was really hoping for it to be coconut, brazil nut or lemon so I was rather pleased when the one above arrived through my letter box! I've not used it loads, yet, as I have similar products but it smells divine and when I rubbed some into my arm it left the most gorgeous sheen!

These two items were my winnings from a competition run by Sanctuary on Facebook - all we had to do was say what our ideal night in consisted of and a number of us were commented a few days later to be told we'd won!

I am a total book fiend so this book by Marina Lewycka is going towards the top of my 'to read' list as it's rather appealing. I also really enjoy the Sanctuary products that I've tried out so far so this 'Bath Relaxer' was a very welcome addition to my collection!

I've actually won another competition since then but I'll save that for a November post (or it may be getting a post of it's own regardless)

And don't forget to enter my giveaway to win the 'Nude 'tude' palette by The Balm - See the top right of the page; click the photo to access the page.

  1. I have the lemon oil from Body Shop. I'm a little wary especially after experiencing a possible allergic reaction to the Boots one xx
