It’s my turn to rave about the Urban Decay Naked 3
! I’m so excited that I have this (I probably would have had to wait if I’d not been able to pre-order with a 20% off code – Thanks Khila
for sharing it!) (and if I hadn’t had £25 to spend thanks to a lotto win) and I just couldn’t wait until it arrived, so glad I didn’t have to wait until the 21st as I expected to!
This is going to mostly be photos – Some of the pictures aren’t as perfect as I’d have hoped thanks to low light… sorry. Just after I took the pictures the sun came out but by then Ethan had taken over the living room and I had no chance of trying again. I Do think these are going to be pretty enough to make you go ‘oooh pretty’ just like the palette does to me! I’ve not even tried it yet, I’ve had Such a busy day I’m still only wearing base, going to put some eye make-up on after I’ve written this, in the half dark!
Nice little added extra of four samples of the Primer Potion – I’ve never tried it before and each pod is supposed to last a week so that’ll be nice!
Pretty pretty pretty!
Different angle because… why not?
This one, finally, captures the more rose gold tone of the packaging.
And here’s the gorgeousness that are the shades! They’re just stunning.
I’m really impressed with the dual ended brush we get, too, feels like great quality.
Yup, more angles again!
Speaks for itself, shame that the light washed out ‘Strange’ a little, it’s slightly more pink toned than this.
The palest set of swatches this is ‘Strange’, ‘Dust’ and ‘Burnout’ – UD describe Strange as a ‘pale, neutral pink matte-satin’, Dust as a ‘pale metallic pink shimmer with iridescent micro-glitter’ and Burnout as ‘a light pinky-peach satin’.
To be honest I think the descriptions are spot on (as you’d expect!) – But Strange shows as more of a white in this photo – All three of them are lovely and soft, all lovely shades and the most sheer of all of them which is an important addition to the selection as they add a different element.
Now we have ‘Limit’, ‘Buzz’ and ‘Trick’. UD describe Limit as ‘a light dusty rose matte’, Buzz as ‘a metallic rose shimmer with silver micro-glitter’ and Trick as a ‘light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal micro-sparkle’
Again, all perfectly fitting to the descriptions – I love all three of these, very pigmented and creamy, gorgeous pinky toned shades.
On to ‘Nooner’, ‘Liar’ and ‘Factory’ – UD describe Nooner as a ‘medium pinky-brown matte’, Liar as ‘a medium metallic mauve shimmer’ and Factory as a ‘pinky-brown satin’.
More neutral toned these are stunning shades, again so pigmented, repeating myself really.
Lastly we have ‘Mugshot’, ‘Darkside’ and ‘Blackheart’ – UD describe Mugshot as a ‘metallic taupe shimmer with a slight pink shift’, Darkside as ‘a deep taupe-mauve satin’ and lastly Blackheart as ‘a smoky black matte with rose red micro-sparkles’.
Very glad to see some taupes in here too, big fan of a good taupe (and these are good ones) – Also really nice to see a different twist on a black!
Could I pick ones which I expect to be my favourites? No! I want to try all of them, So much! I love that these are all new and exclusive to this palette and I am going to enjoy playing with this So much.
Quick, last, pic. Even the inside of the packaging is gorgeous, I love this purple floral print!
