Elf haul - February 2014

I actually got these bits in January but I've had so so many posts to write that I am only just getting this one put together. Since I've been interacting more with Elf and other Elf fans I've found myself wanting even more of their products than normal which is why this order came about - There was a sale on at the time and then (I think) 25% off the non sale products, maybe 20... Hard to remember when your brain is bad at the remembering stuff.

And here's what I picked up - I think the only thing that was actually in the sale was the 'Eye Enhancing Eyeshadow' set, the rest had money off in the offer they had going on at the time.

These are the shades in the 'Eye Enhancing Eyeshadow'  set - It's set 1 for Blue eyes. I really like the shades, sorry I've not photographed swatches of them yet. In the sale this was £2.40.

I picked up two of the Moisturising Lipsticks, these are new and I was really excited to find out what they were like. This is the first shade that I got, in 'Coral Cutie', which is a really nice shade (I will try to get swatches up soon)

And this shade is 'Ravishing Rose' - This shade is just gorgeous. The standard cost for these is £3.75.

Have to say I like the idea of a Clarifying Pressed Powder - A powder that clarifies skin?! Yes please! I've not tried this, yet, but for £1.50 (standard price) it's well worth a go. (This is the shade Ivory)

I've been wanting to try out some different coloured eye liner pens and I thought that the, very affordable, offerings from Elf would be a good place to start. This is the Waterproof Eyeliner Pen in 'Coffee' which costs £2.50.

Another Waterproof eyeliner pen in 'Ash' this time, costing £1.50.

Lastly I picked up one of the studio blushes in the shade 'Blushing Rose' - Seems I have a thing about rosey shades at the moment, who'd have guessed. This costs £3.75.

I've listed all of the costs as they would have been without the money off (apart from the one that was in the sale) so that you know what to expect if you decide to pick any of them up yourself - There always seems to be some lovely things on the Elf site, and then when they introduce new things that's even more exciting! The moisturising lipsticks are rather nice but I've not tried the other items a lot, yet.

I do like me a good Elf haul.

  4. I'm torn when it comes to elf. I've had some good stuff from them and some really disappointing stuff too.

Would love to see what the Rose lipstick looks like on.

  6. These look great! I placed an order in the ELF sale, and I can't wait for it to arrive as not tried them before. I really don't *need* any more makeup - but I just can't help myself :-)
