You Beauty Discovery box – Review / Unboxing – May 2014

First beauty box of this month is my You Beauty discovery box – These boxes really are a bit amazing, £6.95 (incl. P+P) for two small samples and then two decent sized samples/full sized products of your choice, from that months list. I’ve found some fantastic products from these boxes, though sometimes think I made the wrong choice, but at least there’s always the next month to get something better!

This months box was celebrating the CEW (UK) beauty awards – There was some fantastic items but some of the ones I wanted to try the most were out of stock by the time I got the chance to log on!
This is what I did get, though, a nice selection of goodies, especially for the bargain price!
Firstly I picked the Oriflame ‘Tender Care Protecting Balm’ as I’ve not had a chance to try anything by Oriflame before so this seemed like a good chance. Not to mention the fact that I’m a total and utter balm addict!

Having looked at the ingredients it doesn’t look like the Most amazing formula ever I’ll still use it, it’s a balm and I’d like to know what it’s like in use. Also, just look at that packaging, most beautiful balm tub I’ve got, thus far! (Though the neck of the tub is really tall so it’s quite hard to get your finger down to the surface of the balm itself)
I quite enjoy Percy & Reed products and this one caught my attention. I’m just one of ‘those’ people who likes weird things, funky things that are just a bit different. Fragrance spray for your hair definitely falls into that category, I Just Had to try it! Plus if it adds shine, too, then that’ll definitely be a bonus.
I Looove Lizi’s Granola – I’ve had it in boxes before and it’s just the tastiest granola ever! Sadly it’s also very expensive so I don’t get to eat it often, was definitely glad to see this in the box and to get the chocolate was even more of a plus as I’ve not tried this flavour before.
I can’t remember expecting two sachet samples in the box but that’s what I got – The first is this Charles Worthington Leave-In Conditioner which looks cool (and seems very similar to a sachet in a previous box but not complaining!)

The second sachet is of the Caudalie ‘Divine Legs’ which is a tinted body lotion – This isn’t the sort of product I use much but it is the sort of thing I want to try out a bit more this year so this is just right for me.

It’s crazy to see what you get in these boxes, and there were much better options than what I got, too! Very very nice box, looking forward to next month already!

It really is such a good service! I love that you get the cute little extras as well as decent sized main samples, such a bargain 🙂 I went for the Burt's Bees face wipes and the Glamglow supermud treatment.
