The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil range* - Coming very soon! (12th August)

I was Incredibly lucky to be able to attend the Body Shop Show casing event in London on Friday and I was so excited to discover some new products that they've got coming, as well as learning more about the brand. I'm going to write up a post about the event, itself, in the coming week or so but I just wanted to share a quick mention of the most imminent new release which is the Wild Argan Oil range which I've been lucky enough to experience at the event and also try a few at home following receiving some of the items in the event goody bag.

These are the fabulous items that I was sent but the range will have a whole host of items in it - There'll be a 'Body Butter', a 'Rough Scrub', a 'Shower Gel', a 'Body lotion', an 'Oil for Lips' and a soap as well as the 'Bubbling Bath', the 'Radiant Oil' and the 'Solid Oil' that you can see above.

Whilst at the event many of us had a hand and arm massage using a number of the 'Wild Argan Oil' products and it was so so good. The whole range smells amazing and our arms and hands felt amazing and so soft and smooth after the massage - They used the Body Butter, the Radiant Oil and the Solid oil for the massage and it was fantastic.

The first of the items which I got in the goody bag is the 'Bubbling Bath' which looks like absolute luxury - There's a sheen running through it which looks beautiful and the texture of this is so thick, that I am expecting it to be a delight to use. As with the whole range it has the distinctive and beautiful Argan oil scent. I don't use bubble bath very often but this will definitely be my go to for when I want a relaxing, luxurious bubble bath.

The second product I got was the 'Radiant Oil' which is for both the body and the hair. This oil has the aforementioned scent and has a lovely light texture - The bottle has a spray dispenser but it's great in that it doesn't spray out too much at once, it's easy to just get a small amount and build up to how much you need. This is a fabulous multi-use product and I've already used it in my hair which was really really nice.

Lastly comes the Solid Oil which is my favourite of the three products. This is, I think, going to be one of those miracle products that is going to live in my handbag. I have used it on my elbows a few times and also on my hands and cuticles and I love love love it! I'm in love with this little tin of solid oil and I really want to get the formula which is meant for the lips, once it comes out.

I am really rather in love with the Argan oil range - I've always read loads about Argan oil and, of course, it's been something that people have been going crazy over, especially for the hair, for a really long time but I've just never got any myself. As such, I'm really looking forward to trying more of this range and I love that it's for the body as well as for the hair - That scent is just fabulous and any chance to have the whole body and hair smelling of it is definitely a winner for me. Keep an eye out for the Wild Argan Oil products arriving on the 12th Augut which is tomorrow already!

These Argan oil products are produced following the same community fair trade policy as Body Shop employ with their other products, it's not tested on animals and has the same ethos as Body Shop has followed for so many years. I learned a lot about the company at the event which was so nice and I'm looking forward to sharing that with you when I post about the event as a whole.

  3. I love argan oil, still have loads from my holiday in Morocco. I had a chance to see how it's made and kudos for all those ladies sitting there for hours sorting argan fruits by hands.

  5. Like Rachel, am not a fan of the scents from the Bodyshop, they somehow feel a bit fake.

  8. I love the Body Shop, the coconut body butter is amazing. I have quite oily skin and hair though so I wouldn't use the argan oil products but I bet they are great if you have dry skin and hair

  9. I have seen so much hype about Argan oil, so many products and brands selling there own take of it. But I do adore the Body Shop, everything they put their name too is class. I am very keen to sample the Argan oil body butter.
