An amazing new beauty box – The LookFantastic Beauty Box – September 2014 – #LFBeautyBox

When I saw that Lookfantastic were bringing out their own beauty box, which was going to have limited quantities and which was going to cost £15 and have a value of over £50… well I knew that it might be a good investment for some of my blog earnings and my Goodness was I right?!

The box it comes in is a matte black with just the name LookFantastic on the top, but it has the lovely little added detail of having this written inside the lid.
I tried to make it look like I’d been good and not opened it before photographing it but it didn’t really work out that way – It’s quite clear I just couldn’t help myself, sorry!
Alright, last filler photo, let’s get on to the products (I know, I’m just Such a tease!)

And there you go… yes, it’s ok to take a moment to let this image sink in, to really take it in!

First up we have a 50ml sample of the St Tropez ‘Bronzing Mousse’ – I’m not a big self tanning person but I’d Definitely like to try out a St Tropez product, they’re supposed to be so good! The full size of this is 240ml and costs £30.64.
Next we have a little 5ml spray of the This Works ‘Deep Sleep Pillow Spray’ – This Works is one of those brands I see around but have never allowed myself to splurge so I’m really happy to be able to try out this cult favourite product. The full size of this is 250ml and costs £30.

I have wanted to try a Kerastase product for Sooo long so I was thrilled to see this in the box. This is the ‘Nutritive Irisome Bain Satin 1’ which is supposed to cleanse, moisturise and condition your hair all in one – This is Such an amazing product for me to be able to try as this is exactly the sort of thing I need. It’s a really nice sized 80ml bottle where the full size is 250ml and cost £13.60.
For those of you that let out a groan at having two products by one brand in a box do not dismay… Amazingly this second Kerastase item counts as one item along with the previous! Yup, wow! This is the ‘Nutritive Irison Lait Vital’ which is supposed to nourish your hair without weighing it down – You apply it to cleansed, towel dried hair and then wash it out after. This is a really good 70ml sample and the full size is 200ml, costing £16.

Never going to complain when I see a Caudalie product in a box and the ‘Divine Oil’ is a real cult favourite for a very good reason – It’s a fantastic oil which smells amazing! This is a really good sized bottle at 15ml and the full size is 100ml for £27.

Ok ok, I’m a tease still, I left the Jurlique to last, I’m sorry! But, really, wow?! I couldn’t believe it when I saw this in the box. This is the ‘Herbal Recovery – Advanced Serum’ and it looks amazing!

I just have to show you the bottle, it doesn’t show up too well but it’s gorgeous, it has a beautiful pearlescence to it! The bottle holds around 15ml of product whereas a full size holds 100ml. The full sized product is worth a whopping £90 so that makes this sample worth about £13.50 which pretty much covers the cost of the box!

Each product (or set of products) gets a whole side of a card for further information, which is really  nice, has a very good quality feel about it.

Everything about this box is impressive – The amazing size and value of the samples, the amazing brands, and the amount of samples in there compared to the cost of the box. I’d heard so many good things about boxes run by beauty sites but there wasn’t any still going by the time I came to beauty boxes, I am So glad that this one is here, now, and that it’s such an amazing box. Here’s to hoping that next month is Just as exciting.
