I’m just going to put a quick post together, today, to share a few Primark purchases with you; I have managed to get in there around once a month, recently, due to having to have hospital appointments and the likes – I’ve not picked up much as I’m having to be a lot more careful with money at the moment, but I had had a certain item stuck in my head since my last visit and I promised myself that if it was still there I’d get it. As well as that I had to get some bits for Skye, for her birthday, and I had a quick browse in New Look which led to one of my best bargain buys in a very long time.
The item that I promised I’d get, if it was still there, was this pink and grey, fairisle cardigan – I fell in love with it, last month, and didn’t think it’d still be there when I went back in but, amazingly it was. There was, actually, a lot more than there had been, previously, and I was torn between this and a grey and mint green one, but this is the one that I was gutted I hadn’t bought previously so it had to be this one. It was £14 and is a wool mix.
The other item that I bought for myself was these red and cream, fairisle booty slippers. The reason I bought these is that my other pair of booty type slippers are just far too big for me and they slip off – I also saw someone post about some New Look slippers, a while ago, which were beautiful but they were £12.99 so I didn’t get those. These ones were only £6 which I thought was rather a good bargain, they’re really warm and comfortable too.
The main reason I went to Primark was to see if they had any cat slippers for Skye, as it’s her birthday in a couple of weeks, and they did! These really cute, grey ones with pink gem stone noses are incredibly cute and I hope she loves them. They were £4 I think.
I’ve forgotten the price for this one, but I Think it was £5 – I remember being impressed because they hadn’t marked it up loads even though it’s Frozen. I picked this one up for her as she likes Frozen (hardly a surprise) and they didn’t have anything with cats on in her size, haha. They had some really cute Frozen inspired dresses, too, but Azii said she’d prefer a t-shirt.
Whilst I was in New Look, to look at the slippers, I had a little browse in some of the other areas too. My biggest surprise was finding these two pairs of charcoal tights with a fairisle pattern on them – they didn’t have any external packaging but both had the card inside the legs to keep them rigid; they were both on sale at 50p each which is why they were an absolute no brainer!
Hopefully I’ll get another chance to go to Primark, next month, we do have to pop to the Children’s department of the hospital, in Gloucester, for Ethan’s routine check-up so we’ll be in the area for that but we might be a bit tired from all of the tooing and froing to the hospital, I guess we shall see.
