This was supposed to be a Christmas gift idea post but, according to the website, last delivery for Christmas has passed so I can't recommend that you get these as gifts this year (the item only arrived yesterday so, for once, it's, not me being bogged down that's delayed the post). What I can do, though, is tell you my thoughts on the item as a general gift idea, and share an awesome quiz, which results in a money off code, as well.
My goodness it really is nearly Christmas, isn't it! We don't have decorations up, yet, but the boys have been opening their advent calendars, the presents were all bought weeks ago and most of them are already wrapped, Oliver's been wearing his Christmas bibs and Ethan's finished school, there's no denying that it's nearly here.
As organised as I am, there's one thing I've not done, this year, or for the past few, and that's something special for the cats. Now I know it's easy to say that, once you have children, your priorities shift, but I do feel bad that I used to go out of my way to include the cats in our celebrations and now they don't get as much fuss.
When Whiskas asked me to write, for you, about our cats at Christmas, and my memories of past Christmas' with them it really got me thinking about it all and I definitely want to go back to including them like we used to.
Being a member of a variety of beauty groups and parenting groups, online, means that I have heard of foot masks/socks, which cause your feet to peel, a number of times. The brand, Footner. got mentioned from time to time and I have to say I was both intrigued and a little unsure.
When I was given the opportunity to trial a set of 'Footner Exfoliating Socks', though, it seemed obvious that I had to give them a go. I walk bare foot a lot, in the house, and my feet aren't in the best shape. Additionally my newer health issues seem to have caused some foot issues so, due to that, I am happy to try anything to improve them, even if it is something a little unusual!
I always told myself, before Oliver was born, that I wouldn't get him too many toys. They don't need so many toys when they're little, at least Ethan never did. When Ethan was a baby (almost 7 years ago, eek), he didn't mind toys, he liked them a bit but definitely didn't need as many as he had and that's how I came to make the resolution that I did on Oliver's behalf, before I knew Oliver.
Turns out some babies do need toys, some babies love toys so much that they get incredibly excited every time they get a new toy and they really, really, engage with and play with toys. Oliver is one of these second babies, he just can't get enough of toys. As such an opportunity to trial some of Leapfrog's newest toys, this Christmas, made me very very happy.
For Black Friday H&M did a great offer of 25% off and free delivery on all orders. I've really come to love H&M over the past year, or so, and I love picking up bits and bobs for myself and the children when there's a good offer on,or when there's something in particular that we need.
This is a very picture heavy post, so if there's any particular category you'd rather see I'm going in the order of home, beauty, my clothing and then baby clothing. I got some great things and 25% off makes it even more of a good deal than normal.
