After enjoying the June Powder Drawer, which I received when I first subscribed, I was really looking forward to seeing what September’s box would contain as I was really impressed with my first experience and I’ll say, now, that the September box did not disappoint.

Powder Beauty drawers are a little more expensive than your standard box at £15 (plus postage) (though less if you sub for a few months at once) but for that increased price you get a considerable amount more products than in other boxes and some really impressive brands and full sized items too.

I’ve called this my first MINA (or 3INA)  haul because I have already made a second order and, so, know that there’ll be a second haul in the not too distant future. I discovered this brand when I was trying to buy some shoes from Asos in February and needed an extra item to get free delivery. I wear cream eye  shadow much more than I wear powder, so, a cream eye shadow from a new brand seemed like a great add on.

MINA is a brand who started their UK presence in a store in Covent Garden last year (2016) but are originally from Sweden. They can now be found in Selfridges on Oxford Street, as well as their original store and, more importantly for those of us not in London, are also stocked online. They can be found at Asos as well as their own website

To cut a long story short, I loved the cream eye shadow and before long I knew I needed more shades and to try some more products from this brand.

It’s Birchbox time again! It was nice to get the box nice and early, this month, as my box took a little while last month so I didn’t post it until rather late. That said it can be nice to get the box late one month and early the next as it feels like you get boxes really regularly, even if you are fooling yourself a little haha.

I liked this month’s box and if you do, too, you can sign up using my link which will get you £5 off your first box as well as getting me £5 to spend in the Birchbox shop:

I was very, very pleased to find a package containing five of the new Renaissance Lipsticks from Makeup Revolution on my doorstep yesterday. I was browsing the Tam Beauty website, just a couple of days ago, and these caught my eye so being able to try a few out, and share them with you, made me very happy!

Just as a little mention, I’m working with a new camera so some of my photos are struggling with light and I’m working on how to improve that so please bare with me. You should be able to get a good impression of the lipsticks, still, and the swatches came out perfectly.
